CSU Team Places High in Academic Quadrathlon

 

This pas April, CSU and the Department of Animal Sciences achieved an impressive accomplishment at the WSASAS (Western Section of the American Society of Animal Sciences) Academic Quadrathlon.  Colorado State University claimed Champion AQ honors for the Western Section ASAS. 

 

Winning team members included students Josh Docheff, Scott Howard, Dominic DiSanti, and Silvia Otabachian.  The CSU team won the written test and placed second in the lab practicum.

 

The team also defeated Utah State University in the final round of the quiz bowl to qualify for competition in the quiz bowl at the 2008 NCBA Convention in Reno, NV.  The team is coached by Travis Hoffman and Dr. Hyungchul Han, and Dr. Shawn Archibeque, all professors in the Department of Animal Sciences.
