The Chronicle of Higher Education recently published the 2005 Faculty Scholarly Productivity Index, and the Department of Agricultural & Resource Economics ranked number one in the nation in the field of agricultural economics.
The index evaluates faculty members at more than 7,300 doctoral programs in the United States. It takes into account the number of book and journal articles published by each program’s faculty, as well as journal citations, awards, honors and grants received. CSU was followed next by Iowa State University and the University of California at Berkeley. |
