Industry Partners Recruit Top-Notch Students at Career FairOn February 20, the College of Agricultural Sciences and Warner College of Natural Resources will host their annual career fair for Colorado State University students, inviting industry partners to campus for recruiting and interviewing opportunities.
The career fair is in conjunction with the Horticulture and Landscape Architecture Career Day, and is held each year in order to give students important exposure to potential careers in their area of study. Over 125 employers from the fields of agriculture, natural resources, horticulture and landscape will be attending the fair which typically attracts over 800 students. The College of Agricultural Sciences hosts two career fairs each year during October and February. The events give companies and industry partners an opportunity to market their organization and available career and internship positions specifically to students and alumni from the areas of agriculture and natural resources.
Mary Christensen is the new Career Liaison between the College of Agricultural Sciences and the CSU Career Center. The Career Center also hosts all-university fairs during the fall and spring for employers recruiting a broad range of students.
