Associate Dean Irlbeck Receives Highest Companion Animal Award

"I was raised and trained within traditional agriculture and believe fervently in the 'agricultural' way of life," says Irlbeck, who recognizes that animal science programs are often diversifying their once traditional focus. "More students want to know about horses, companion animals, alternative livestock and zoo animals." It's a passion she shares with many of Colorado State's up-and-coming students.  Read More...

COLLEGE HIRES NEW CAREER LIAISON

Hailing from Walden, Colo., Rebecca (Beka) Crocket will be serving students and alumni as the new Career Liaison in the College of Agricultural Sciences. Her ranching background will be an asset to her as she focuses her energies on career development, graduate school counseling, and internship advising. Beka is also responsible for the College of Agricultural Sciences Career Fair which will be held on October 13, 2009 in the Lory Student Center. All students, alumni, and employers are welcome.
