As Chief Financial Officer, Jon is responsible for overseeing all fiscal activities of the combined operations of the College of Agricultural Sciences (CAS) and the Agricultural Experiment Station (AES). His specific responsibilities include management and supervision of Ag Business Center operations and personnel (this office processes and/or monitors and oversees all aspects of the purchasing, budgeting, staffing, and general accounting activities for CAS/AES). The object of this position is to serve the personnel of CAS/AES in helping ensure accurate and timely accounting guidance and service within the structure of applicable rules, regulations, policy, and procedures. This position also serves as the primary liaison accountable to the University Systems offices and ultimately the citizens of Colorado as represented by the Board of Governors.

As Human Resource Manager, Jan oversees the administration of hiring, termination, and personnel records for the CAS/AES. She monitors and coordinates the processing of faculty promotion and tenure, reappointments, sabbatical leaves, faculty annual performance, progress-to-tenure, and post-tenure reviews. Jan serves as the College Coordinator for Faculty Council and Graduate Programs activity. As an ABC Manager, she assists in the management of the Ag Business Center and is the fiscal officer for the Office of the Dean.

Jennifer is the first person you see when you walk into the Ag Business Center.  She serves as an Accounting Tech II for the Departments of Soil & Crop Sciences and Bioagricultural Sciences & Pest Management.  Her responsibilities include document creation (IMO, AFE, Purchase Reqs, WOAs, etc.) and ACARD reallocations. She also assists with new hire paperwork and processes payroll for hourly employees.

As a Program Assistant II, Marilyn helps to keep the wheels turning in the hiring process for employees in the best college on the CSU campus. Our faculty, staff, and students are the hardest working, friendliest, most “down to earth” professors, researchers, and students on campus. If you have questions or need help with the Human Resource Oracle system for salaried employees, grad assistantships, hourly employees; summer session appointments, cost share tracking, federal grant certification reporting, or salary exercise implementation, give Marilyn a call.

As an Accounting Tech III, Jeannie serves as the fiscal officer for the Department of Soil & Crop Sciences;  provides financial management, purchases, reimbursements, journal entries, account reconciliations, report management, budget preparation and monitoring, and staffing account distributions. Jeannie's primary position focus is on Soil & Crop Sciences, but she also assists the other CAS departments as needed.

As an Accounting Tech II, Paul's responsibilities include document creation (IMO, AFE, Purchase Reqs, WOAs, etc.); ACARD reallocations; new hire paperwork and payroll information for hourly employees. Paul supports the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture, the AES Director’s Office, and the Research Centers.

As an Accounting Tech II, Paula's responsibilities include document creation (IMO, AFE, Purchase Reqs, WOAs, etc.); ACARD reallocations; new hire paperwork and payroll information for hourly employees. Paula serves the Departments of Ag & Resource Economics, Animal Sciences, and the Dean’s Office. Paula is married with three great teenagers (yes, they are great)!  As a new person to the ABC, she is looking forward to learning more and meeting more of the great people of CSU.

As an Accounting Tech III, Julie serves as the fiscal officer for the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics (DARE);  provides financial management, purchases, reimbursements, journal entries, account reconciliations, report management, budget preparation and monitoring, and staffing account distributions. Julie's position focus is on DARE, but she also assists the other CAS departments as needed.

As an Accounting Tech III, Beth serves as the fiscal officer for the Department of Animal Sciences; provides financial management, purchases, reimbursements, journal entries, account reconciliations, report management, budget preparation and monitoring, and staffing account distributions. Beth's position focus is on Animan Sciences, but she also assists the other CAS departments as needed.

As Coordinator for Sponsored Project Support, Kim assists faculty and research staff in locating funding opportunities through targeted searches, guideline retrieval and interpretation, budget development and preparation (including budget justifications), proposal preparation and review of proposals for conformance to sponsor and university requirements prior to submission to Sponsored Programs. Kim will provide service at whatever level and degree you require with the exception of technical content and word processing.  Post-award questions are also welcome.
