Introduction

Thank you for visiting the College of Agricultural Sciences, Agricultural Experiment Station and Cooperative Extension strategic planning page.  Our goal, through this site, is to keep you updated on the status of our strategic planning process.  Please check back often.  We value your partnership and interest in our progress.

As a step towards successful integration of education, research and outreach, the College of Agricultural Sciences embarked on a strategic planning process that includes the Agricultural Experiment Station and Cooperative Extension.  These agencies are closely linked to the faculty and staff of the College and represent an invaluable partnership as we strive to achieve our established goals.  The planning process has been guided by the  following Vision, Mission and Values of Colorado State University as established by the Board of Governors:

To date, the process has involved faculty and staff representing each department, researchers and cooperative extension agents.  As a result, 12 planning study areas were identified which will drive our focus and provide direction for the future.  To implement these strategies, a steering committee has been established for each planning study area comprised of faculty, staff, researchers and extension agents.  These steering committees have designated leaders who are charged with implementing various strategic initiatives and ensuring success in the various areas.
