Ag Ambassadors
Want to be an ag ambassador?
Being an Ag Ambassador is a great honor, because we are the elite representatives in the College of Agricultural Sciences.
Because of this, we have an application process which prospective ambassadors will be asked to complete.
That process, it's timeline, and requirements are listed below. If you have any questions, feel free to email us.
Qualifications
- Be in good academic standing
- Demonstrate leadership potential
- Express enthusiasm for the College and University
- Have cumulative 2.5 university GPA or 3.0 high school GPA
Timeline
- October 1st Info Meeting in Shepardson 118: be prepared to ask questions!
- October 8th: Applications are due to CAS Dean's Office by 4:00 p.m.
- October 15th: Selection Night
- First weekend in December: Mandatory training for accepted students

Program Requirements
- Attend weekly meetings, Thursdays at 5:00pm
- Accumulate 25 hours of involvement per semester
- Maintain a minimum 2.5 semester and cumulative GPA
- Maintain good character and professionalism
