The meeting started at 11:00 on Oct 22, 2003.  The following CFT respresentatives were present; Craig Hanson, Greg Litus, Matt Cleveland, Sally Clayshulte Larry Karbowski and Ed Peyronnin.  Tamla Blunt and Phil Watson were absent.

Ed handed out budgets for the College and summarized the recent expenditures.  They include new servers to upgrade individual disk space from 300 MB to 1 Gig.  The upgrade will occur over Christmas break.  There was also some major expenses in upgrading the computer furniture in Shephardson Rm 222. 

Ed also handed out the individual project budgets.  They had been updated to show recent expenditures.  Included was the expense of the support technician to keep everything running this year. 

Tom Brown, a representative for Gateway came and demonstrated one of their new products.  It is a Profile 5, that comes out Oct 31 and is being targeted for educational purposes.  We plan to wait to what the specs are and how they are priced to see if we are interested in purchasing them to replace computers this year.
